Convince my dad that we need XP

My dad got XP for christmas and he installed it. Then he
took it off saying it sucked and it was pointless. So it's
been sitting in our huge computor bin downstairs and hasn't
been touched since. But now all my friends have XP and
everyone is saying "FUCKING UPGRADE". But my dad his still
one of those frightened individuals that still think XP is
bad. So I need some reasons to convince him that we need XP
because my reasons just arn't doing it.

Yeah, as much as I'd like to offer an alternative route, I
really think that ExHore's would have the best results.

What is it specifically that your father doesn't like about
it?
Or is it just foreign to him?

okay if it comes down to it i guess then i will have to
suffocate him in his sleep with a pillow and then there will
be no stopping me from upgrading

Tell him that you would love him more if he installed XP

Or just strangle him in his sleep

stuff

what are you running now anways?

If you are running anything other than Windows 2000, the
upgrade is worth it.

Mayn, I would give you advice, but the only thing that would
be is that you need to throw out XP or sell it somebody you
hate.

I hate XP with a passion.

It kinda sux that Microsoft has yet again designed a piece
of software that to any novice user will seem to be a
magical computer thing that finally does whatever I tell it
to, but when anyone who kind of knows what they are doing
sit behind it its like; "Wow... that was extraneous. Glad
that extra 80 megs of ram is going to good use with these
silly graphix and pointless wizards. How am I supposed to
know that cd burnt?"
