Thanks folks and keep rockin'

roni size, ltj bukem, these two are a good starting point.
Of course there are hundreds more too.

paradox!!! (artists name)

ed rush, total science, and deiselboy. paradox is my
favorite -- some of the loops that come out of him are just
violent and funky...

A good start would be to check out the "Platinum Breakz II"
(metallheadz)
It is a great compilation that covers many styles , from
jazzy to harder stuff.

Cheers Sido. YOu just reminded me of re-inforced first
release. "Mr Kirks nightmare". Fucking awesome track from
back in the day. I am going to have to dig that out from the
crates.

Thanks very much everyone; I'll be downloading lots in the
next few days.

astrid-gil-botn: Indeed it is. I felt I should give
Buckethead, my God, the respect He deserves.

Dieselboy is so gross. Who can actually...seriously
now...who can actually STAND a whole cd with the same drum
beat over and over...

boop trat...booptrat boop trat...booptrat boop trat...
goes on and on and on and on. Give it a rest Dieselboy!!!

offline Deathsmith from Brussels (Belgium) on 2002-05-31 19:59 [#00244816]

Hmmm Photek's more recent stuff isn't all that
junglistic/drumandbassey. . .

and Deiselboy is one of the best drum and bass dj's EVER!!!
His mixes aren't all the same, they aren't all repetive!!!
If you think so, than listen to projectHUMAN the WHOOOLLLE
way through, doing nothing else but listening, and your
opinion will be changed by the end of the song. It's got
plenty of variety.

Defintely Photek! Modus Operandi is a classic, and one of
the best.

Also, get Jega's Spectrum. It's the best damn, d&b/drill
I've heard yet.
