I know how you feel, times a million. Life mostly just
sucks.

Put on some Mu-Ziq, or some SAW85-92. Couldn't hurt... music
IS life.

hmmm. you're wrong. the setting also have to be good.
Like... if you feel like shite, grab yourself and clean your
apartment/room tiptop... then go to your local store and
grab some goodies you like. chocolate milk, candy, etc...
then u get back home, sit down by your computer, eat your
good stuff, put on goody music (doesn't have to be cheerful,
it's just a myth that cheerful music actually cheers up) and
just admire how clean and nice everything. Then come onto
this board again. Haha! I always do that.

So do I... I'm doing it now. And I CAN'T be depressed when
I'm listening to Confield at volume 11. Just stimulates my
mind too much to allow me to be anything but mesmerized.

Rhubarb is so amazing... definitely put that on. Lichen,
Cliffs, Blue Calx... this album was made for situtations
like this. Good ol' RDJ, always caring for his manic
depressive fans. :-)

it's just the way it goes... I'm feeling pretty good now,

cycles I guess... but don't worry, just put on some nice

Today has been a pretty shitty day for me.

I've fallen down a flight of stairs at Six Flags Astroworld
(scraped my arm pretty bad, and temporarily hurt my ass)

On the way back home on the interstate while it was flooding
the windshield wipers stopped 5 times (I had to pull over
each time, and wait for the traffic to stop so that I could
get out and fix it).

And to top that off I had my first car accident (I pulled
onto the road from the stop sign at an intersection... and I
made it to the lane I was supposed to be in, facing the
correct way... All of a sudden the vehicle began to
hydroplane... I ended up in a ditch high-centered on a
cement telephone poll that was lying horizontally...) I
wasn't even going fast...

BUT! I'm still happy at the moment, and the cop didn't give
me a ticket BECAUSE IT WASN'T MY FAULT! It was the damn
road. And I had fun today at the theme park... And I
survived a car crash, and a fall down a flight of stairs...

Now I have Selected Ambient Works II on, so I'm recovering
nicely...

it doesnt matter what type of music it is....just put on
something that u listened to the last time you were happy,
or something u listened to at some significant point in your
life....the nostalgia will take your mind off the present ;)

i sugest SAW2 as well, for just hard times...

for sucidal times...merzbow...

for break ups /w others...the fragile by NIN

cut the midrange drop the bass sometimes works as an all
purpose antidote...it's so cheassy it make you smile...and
the crappiness makes you say..."damn, i'm glad i didn't come
up with that one!"

hehehe
