Anyone heard this new band - Mùm - from Iceland? I read a very enthusiastic review of their album in a Norwegian newspaper today. I kinda got the impression that this could be a bleak copy of Sigur Ros but fat cat usually means quality so I'm not going to dismiss them without getting a second opinion. So! Anyone heard them? |

Yeah I've got their "Yesterday Was Dramatic, Today Is Okay" release. Pretty darn good stuff if you like your music soothing and dreamy. An interesting mix of instruments and electronics. One of the better chillout albums to come out in the last couple of years. But then again, that's just one man's opinion. |

Hmm, I think I've only heard one or two of their songs but I don't really remember being entirely enthusiastic or grabbed by it. Hrmm.. Maybe I just need to give them another listen and/or download more. |
