Anyone here into this guy? Just d/l:d a few of his albums (A view to a chill & Silent intelligence), fell instantly in love. And holy shit is this guy or what? I'm having difficulties deciding what I should try from that huge discography. Any recommendations? His Tetsu Inoue collabos can't be bad... |

Right. As no one seems to know who the fuck I'm talking about here, I'll make a recommendation then: "A view to a chill" by Pete Namlook. Very nice oldskool-ambient-electronica shit, has a saw8592 quality to it. Worth the dl. :) |

I've got from the within III by r hawtin p namlook. very nice. also have a lot of stuff with laswell and namlook together. outland series as well as the psychonavigaton series-both are outstanding. namlook solo I've got silence I and II. robert musso-transonic series with namlook is very dark. the whole Fax scene is really cool but it's also very expensive to collect. |

i received my first pete namlook album today- the fires of ork 2 -and appearently he done this album with geir jenssen (biosphere) who is my favourite ambiental artist album sounds fantastic so if anyone has this album, i would really like to know if other albums by namlook are alike this one thanks its just to be sure that namlook is the main guy behind this album-because it sounds very much like biosphere albums |
