My dad made some this mourning, and it's just fucking
suckulent! So so good, especially while fresh out of the
oven and still warm, mmmmmm. Any rhubarb fans out there ;)

my folks had rhubarb growing in our garden when i was a kid
(see avatar) -- that's when i developed my love for rhubarb

donkey rhubarb hasn't actually much to do with actual
rhubarb... don't let the name fool you, it's actually
another plant called reynoutria japonica, not a variety of
rhubarb and... well, just read this if you want
more info ;)

When my mother was a young girl she would skip around in the
fields with a basket full of rhubarbs, dipping them in sugar
and snacking

There's a rhubarb 'bush' right in my back yard so I can go
pluck some whenever I want to. Boy am I lucky!
