I have seen the SoulSeek version of Flex and was impressed
with it, until I went here:

http://www.director-file.com/cunningham/510.html

and downloaded their Quicktime clip at the top of the page.
The quality is PERFECT. Does anyone know where they got the
clip from? I missed so much becaus eof the degraded image
quality of the Soulseek version.

There is a DVD of FLEX available....

but it costs about $25,000 .... slightly beyond the pocket
of many I guess....

It is ART after all....and the DVD/whatever is geared
towards being sold to Galleries & Art Collectors (i.e. not
you bunch of scruffy gits..;) )....

I think there were only about 20 or so made....limited
edition and all that.....

You should have gone to see it at the Apocalypse show in
London.... that was very special!!!!

I would've done ANYTHING to see that Apocalypse show. I just
don't have the argent to shell out. Hmmm... I'm wondering if
the people who owned the site got one of the DVDs... I think
they are only college students, I'd e-mail them, but I know
they wouldn't respond back.

That is good! I wish I'd had the chance to see the
apocalypse show.

I'm sure if anyone smart (or not exceedingly wealthy)
has a copy on DVd they'll burn copies of the DVD and bootleg
them. Crazily, according to the postmodern philosophy, this
piracy will actually increase the value of the originals...

I reckon it'll turn up again in some gallery...if it's that
amount of money then they're def gonna show it....

Let's keep our eyes peeled....I get a lot of Art Mags so if
I see anything, I'll let you know....I know MOMA in NY have
a lot of video art so they might be worth a ring; I'll see
if I can get one of my more arty mates to contact them via
his dealer...

I'm eager to see it too....I loved that video...(even if the
partner finds it a bit disturbing...)...

I think Flex is Cunningham's best work, followed by Only You
and All Is Full Of Love. I only wish I could see it the way
Cunningham intended it to be viewed, in crystal clarity.
Still, I am so greatful just to see it at all!

I dunno...Galleries and Collectors wouldn't Rip shit...that
for us low-lifes ;)...

But let's hope...I wonder if AFX has a copy...I know CC's
studio so we could break it I guess....(and get the drukqs
vid as well)...

Gonna dig out my swag bag & balaclava this weekend...

HAHAHA

You break into his UK studio and I'll break into his NY one
and then we'll trade all the good stuff we get. I want to
intern with him, so maybe I'll do it the legal way. Nah,
breaking in is quicker.

Holy shit... Ceri I thought I was tripping out when your
avatar face twitched. Very subliminal... we could use that
sneakiness in getting the DVD, let's all do it.
