i read in some places that SAW II is 3 cds, in some shops
here its only two, is it the same number of tracks on both
editions? i'm planning to finally buy it after a long wait
for some money...

I bought it on CD before hearing it just on the strength of
it being Aphex Twin.

There are a few tracks that really stand out IMO 1,3 and
2,last track. But generally I just put them on from start to
finish. I mostly listen to it when doing something
repetative like painting minatures.

It's the first rdj release i got. Love it. Cover to cover so
to speak. Ofcourse some tracks are better than others .. i
don't know - depends how much you like ambient.

Admittedly though, it doesn't get so much airplay these
days.

i mean its Aphex Twin and its ambient i'm a big fan of both
but still its a pretty high price for 1 cd....i think i
should just go for it though,,its only money.

*thinks deeply and trys to decide*

It's good and it is long so you're getting a decent ratio of
minutes:$ :)

christchurch eh .. yeah .. 54 bucks is quite steep, but
you'd be lucky to find it for anything less.

You paint miniatures?! Man... I used to do that ages ago....
What miniatures do you paint? Citadel?

some songs are brilliant, but some I just don't find that
exciting... I find the second cd (with the exception of a
few songs which I program out) perfect for sleeping... I
don't really listen to it much more then that...
