BOC's short little tracks...

What's your favorite ''mini'' Boards of Canada track? You
know what I mean, Kaini Industries, Olson, Into the Annexe,
stuff like that, the little interludes that the fuckers made
short to piss me off or something.

I think Triangles and Rhombuses is pretty amazing, I wish it
could go on forever.

Honorable mention to Into the Annexe... it's too short even
for a mini song!

would Roygbiv count? Well, I'd say Roygbiv... but anyone
would say that, so besides Roygbiv I say these...

Bocuma
Olsen
Triangles and Rhombuses
Over the Horizen Radar
Into the Annexe

Roygbiv is definitely an amazing track, my favorite BOC by
far, but I don't consider it an ''interlude''. Just a very
rude thing for BOC to do, making one of the best tracks I've
ever heard so darn short.

I find it a perfect length... I'm glad they didn't decide to
drag out a good thing... it's clearly one of their best
songs, and so on other peoples hands it probably would've
been stretched out to maybe 5 minutes or so... they showed
restraint, and created the perfect song... it is never
boring, and always leaves you wanting more... just put it on
repeat and it should solve the length issue...

You know the song "The Devil is In The Details"?? Do you
think Boards of Canada named it after the picture in
"Complex Mathematical Equation" by AFX???

weird...

but the picture in the equation track isnt the devil...its
richard!

i thought it was funny in that wired article when it said
that the picture was of richard himself, rather than a
demon...as if the two could be mistaken for one another

Shit, I forgot about Iced Cooley... I guess I'd put that in
first. It always makes me feel cold when I listen to it.
Weird stuff, weird stuff.
