What do you think of them/their movies?
Personally, i think they're up there with Scorsese and
Kubrick. They've never made one crappy film! quite
rare....

Anyway, i was watching Big Lebowski (for the third time),
and the scene where Walter (John Goodman) pours out the
ashes on the Dude's face has to be the funniest moment in
movie history ever!! I couldn't stop laughing!!!

My personal favourite is Raising Arizona. Great humor!

Her are their movies:

Intolerable Cruelty (2003)
Man Who Wasn't There, The (2001)
O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000)
Big Lebowski, The (1998) )
Fargo (1996)
Hudsucker Proxy, The (1994)
Barton Fink (1991)
Miller's Crossing (1990)
Raising Arizona (1987)
Crimewave (1985/I)
Blood Simple (1984)

My Favorite of the bunch is Raising Arizona, and then
Fargo.

Although I haven't seen anything past the Big Lebowski...

Raising Arizona : best chase scene ever? Wallace and Gromit
- The Wrong Trousers is close though...

I like em all except for O' Brother...I have serious issues
with Cloony..my absolute favourite has to be Barton Fink..

in my book they are superior to Scorcesse and Kubrick...

Raising Arizona is my favorite as well....there's something
about it... Nic Cage is so damn good in it too....
O Brother seems like a film that unintentionally appealed to
kids and families ....

I saw the Man Who Wasn't There the other night. I thought it
was great, really understated. It made up for O Brother.

Ethan Coen has a book of short stories. Has anyone read it?
I'm not a big fan of short stories but it was a pretty good
read.

hollywood with 'NICE' movies.

-Blood Simple.....EXCELLENT
-Millers Crossing was also good, and missed by a lot of
people cos it wasn't in the theatres long, it has one of my
fav actors Gabriel Byrne =)
-Raising Arizona, funny as hell
-Barton Fink, so damn original and was a tour d'force for
Turruro!!

horrified at the same time watching that movie

some movies i've missed.....

Yeah, Peter Stormare is one of the coolest actors in
Hollywood right now....did you know he has his own
rock-band; it's called MFF (Man From Fargo)
