well, Sigur Ros is nice and laid back... SAW85-92? SAWII?
Brian Eno maybe... Enya maybe... check out Peter Gabriel's
passion... ummm, some stuff by Bjork... Kind of Blue by
Miles Davis... Coldplay maybe? Some radiohead would be good
too...

oh, and you can't go wrong with some of Autechre's softer
stuff like Vletrmx21, or anything from Garbage EP... Amber
has some nice songs on it, like Yulqeun, etc... Rae maybe...
:)

all of the above, and savath+savalas, ulrich schnauss,
christian kleine, some phonem. also hermann & kleine is
supposed to be good (haven't heard them meself). actually
most of the stuff on labels like defocus and morr are in the
boc vein.

oh, and if you're on the chilled tip of things; definitely
be sure to check out cinematic orchestra!! (i've been
nagging about them all day, but they're f*cking amazing)
it's on the jazzier side of things, but chilled and mellow
stuff (for the most part). deep bass rolls that will massage
your bottom if you're seated close to the speakers :)

brilliant stuff. oh, and up, bustle & out. truly definitive
chilled summerstuff. los locos cubanos. vive la revolucion!!

Jimmi Hendrix!!!!
The track "if 6 was 9" for example.
Nice dolphin space guitar sounds that made me think of BOC

Try anything by Cim, he's really good, nice floaty, pretty
synths and stuff like that. ''Reference'' is a great album.

St. Germain is nice... I haven't heard Boulevard, but
Tourist is an excellent chilled jazzy album...

That's the whole reason BoC are masters at their game - NO
ONE sounds like them. I think that's incredibly unique in
music to achieve that.

Mmmhh .. .. they definetly are good at what they do .. but
other people not sounding like them or sounding like them
doesn't make other music any less unique imo .. not that you
said that .. but its not like they copyrighted a type of
music ???
