They are all good. if you like Prefuse, consider buying
Machine drum: similar clickhop stuff but I like it even more
than prefuse (which i really like)

BTW, Prefuse said that his next prefuse album (he does music
under at least two more moniquers) will be straight hip-hop
w/o this click/glitch shit.

The new prefuse stuff that I have heard is quite a bit more
straightforward than uprock narratives. I really like it,
altho I have heard mixed reactions from a few people who
have heard it.

He has actually stoped making music under both savath &
savalas, and delarossa and assoria. He decided to merge the
two projects together, because the ideas for both kept on
bleeding together. One project was his "techno" music and
the other was his post rock, respectively.

Look for the new ep in soulseek.

I forget what its called... something like "prefuse73 92-96
sessions" or something like that. I am not sure whether or
not the dates are accurate as far as when the music was
written, but the shit is well sik.

More focus on melody and sounds it seems.

I purchased this recently. I'm not sure about it. I'm going
to have to give it some time. Though I can't take Cinematic
Orchestra out of my discman at the moment.

weeks and it's even better than the first one.

Not sure. Could be schematic.

That is the label that he releases most of his other stuff
on.

I like Aim.. new album is called Hinterland. Like Cold Water
Music better though. Much of the stuff on Grand Central is
very good.. Fingathing, Rae&Christian etc.

And that Prefuse 73 ep is called "the '92 vs. '02
collection"

nice head nodding hip le hop!

Cold Water Music has some good stuff but its not a great
album. The new song I love has the refrain 'something,
something worldwide'.

prefuse73 is the nuts! it's definitely among the best albums
of last year, and maybe scott herren's best stuff ever. all
the tracks are brilliant, and manages to make the album
sound really cohesive and flowing. a masterpiece!!

a shame that he's indicated that he's doing more straight-up
stuff at the mo...i love the cut-hop stuff from prefuse,
machinedrum and most of the m3rck rooster.

aim: cold water music is brilliant. hinterland ? naaaah...
as urb said, most of the grandcentral stuff is ace (except
aim and rae&christian's last albums...).

Monoid: hip-hop is more than just music for bored kids: it's
a culture. Click-hop is nice but it's just a micro-trend.

Ive only heard some of uprock narratives i like what i
heard.

He also releases under: Delarosa & Asora, and Savath +
Savalas. He has different styles of music for the different
names. I wish i had money to buy new music, i would pick up
some of his albums.

There is an article about him on absorb.org the article is
called: blueprints for the advancement of electronic music

I like the 2nd and 3rd track best. the 2nd has weird female
vocals used as a percussion blast and the 3rd has rapping
but in a rhyming structured melody which is unusual.

I can listen to that prefuse album all the way through, its
very good, I don't think of it as tracks more one long one.
bought it on the off chance and was well happy

i read that mr. herren wouldn't record under his
delarosa+asora moniker anymore. i think it said that he
thought it reminded him so of his savath+savalas stuff, that
he'd use that nick instead. anyways, gimme some more stuff
soon, scott...

producing some beats for a really talented emcee.. i don't
think many of you would be disappointed

Is Prefuse 73 in any way involved with Blonde Redhead? I
heard a sample from the BRH song "in expression of the
inexpressable" in the Extinguished: Outtakes track "Sao
Paulo"
