how do i change my isp?

i have a dynamic isp account w/ verizon dsl...i want to
change it so that i can access a ftp that thinks i'm
hammering it (and prolly banned my isp). I've restarted my
pc, turned it off, and even turned off my dsl modem for
diffrent time durations...but according to my ftp server
client, and "whatismyipaddress.com," i still have the same
one...

any help?

I thought DSL connections have permanent IP add's as well as
ISDN, T4 and so on...

However, you might be able to bypass this problem by
installing some software that drags your account through
half the world, through various proxy servers and hab's in
order to mask your true identity. I have just read about it
this morning but have forgotten the url for one of these
programs. If you really need it, tell me and I'll tell you
tomorrow...

verizon only gives static ip's to their business
accounts...all home accounts have dynamic ip
addies...according to their site; verizon.com...

Eh, I dunno, man, try fucking around with properties/
settings in your "Network neighbourhood" but be careful,
don't screw anything up and come back blaming me. There
should be something about IP settings in there, but I can't
look myself as I'm in a LAN and my SysAd would kill me.

They will be suspicious, mind you. BTW, I should be getting
two Converter's albums in two days. Can't wait to hear
them!!!

No, most cable and suff, if youve been on it long enough
will change your ip every year or even 7 months or so. Its
happened to me before, dont ask.. but it has.

Nanotech: to only get a different IP you need to actually
close and then open a new account with your current ISP or
get a new ISP altogether. Thats now.

If you want simple IP cloaking, and most sites it works for
but they can find out after a while.... try this useful link
The ip Cloak Goodluck.

which 2 converter cd's did you get? I think that all besides
erode are really fucking good...and erode is jsut a split
anyways...so it's not all converter...
