umm..the only thing I have heard by TFEQ is DJ Spooky VS The
Freight Elevator Quartet..which is neither downtempo..nor
Jazz...in fact it's the exact opposite..it's harsh and noisy
and avant garde classical inflected...so I hope you are not
leading cornmouth up the garden path Zen Storm..

It's a band, but it's headed by one guy.....and he's pretty
fuckin crazy, he uses natural distortion of vocals (i.e.
half way swallowing the mic while he sings), and they use to
use a lot of samples and weird experimental loops, the drums
don't function as the rhythm, but rather as the lead with
the guitar, it's crazy stuff, sometimes too much to take in

by the way, Zen Storm, the track "Transparent" by TFEQ is
awesome, not what i meant by jazzy nor downtempo, but still
