I'm happy for you,if you like it,

but no more prodigy for me
(or better:no more me for the prodigy)
I saw them this summer, and they sucked sooooo hard!
They should have given me money to sit there and listen to
that SHIT!

No more respect for the prodigy!

I never gave a shit about the Prodigy... I guess Firestarter
wsa the first electronic music I really liked, but it sounds
like cheesy shit to me now... and everything I've ever heard
by them (which admittedly isn't much) has sounded like
overproduced, bombastic crap. Too mainstream or something.

i think liam is a genius. but richard is the crazier one :)

just remember - rythm of life - fantastic song and for sure
no commerce.

YEah Liam is a talented producer , he doesn't need those
other wankers.

i listend to the "new" tracks now and they where all
CRAPP!!! imho.

oh my god this concert is really shit. just passed "nuclear"
- this is the worst prodigy song ever created. a stupid punk
rock song even without some big beats. i don`t know what got
into them but this sucks totaly !

it is of course a lot scarier that this man pictured on the
left <<<<< claims to have recorded a track with Liam
Prodigy!

where'd this promo cd come from? i heard the new album may
not even be coming out this year. automator mixed one of
their songs, but that was like a year ago.

the last one, was it dirtchamber session vol.1 ? liam has
just mixed various tracks from various artists, but in a
cool style i think. the old ones are good, especially music
for the gilted generation.... so what i read is that the new
prodigy's sounding crap ? i knew it, i really knew it, it's
the same with Chemical Brothers.... and also Fatboyslim,
they all go poop

btw.: Sido Dyas, your avatar is fucking cool !

Liam gave props to Rich in the "Experience" credits, so he
must have some taste.

They played their new album,on this concert,
I told you,they suck!

Since I gave them another chance ,one hour ago,I 'm
listening to their oooold stuff:music for the gilted
generation: break and enter, out of space, voodoo people,....
...wich is very good,actually!

...but they lost a piece their talent for making good music
with every album they released...

...and now,there's nothing left...

once along time ago i found this cd called "remixes for the
jilted generation" and i didn't buy it. and now i can't find
it anywhere, and i really wish i could. jilted is definately
my favorite prodigy album, though. i really love no good,
probably because its incredibly cheesy. paranoid sting is
great too.

I remember in 1993 when I was 9 like it was yesterday...I
was sat downstairs and put on this tape and 'outer space'
was on and loved them since. One of my favourite tracks is
'climbatize' (sp?), they used it in a Ray Mears show too

In an interview i heard that Liam can't stand Richard,
because once he (Rich) was asked to make a Remix and gave
them a track he did years ago.
Anyway I like the old Prodigy tunes like "music reach"

ceri cj: "Liam gave props to Rich in the "Experience"
credits, so he
must have some taste. " thx for mentioning - never saw that
before.

the show which contains the 4 new tracks was Live At The
Gold Coast (01-20-2002) - don`t know where that was.

but believe me, i got all their releases and this is the
worst ever !

first time I heard them was watching Top Of The Pops and I
couldn't believe that this beepy load of rubbish with a shit
video was number 2 in the charts.

I was of course only 9 and didn't realize that Charly is a
fucking unbelievable track.

At the time I just thought the strobe lights in the video
and the terrible clothes (I still think THAT) didn't deserve
number 2 in the charts. Can't remember what no 1 was though.

ah man too bad that "prodigy remix" never came out, it'd be
nice to have more "new" old music. same with the lemonheads
"remix" he did, tho that probably came out and was just
never uploaded by anyone. i'm sure it's way out of print by
now.

anybody ever heard that porn flick soundtrack by liam
howlett and del naja from massive attack?

the movie is called 'the uranus experiment' and features the
worlds first zero-g ejaculation.

I found one track on audiogalaxy, but the music is drowned
by all the moaning.

are they actually shitty, or are they (FATBOY SLIM, CHEMICAL
BROS, PRODIGY), just way, way, way ahead of their time?
Alla Autechre, Caustic Window, Aphex etc....??????????

i was the biggest Prodigy fan;
17 cd's, videos,...books, and so on..
but then i discovered Aphex Twin, and the rest is
history----
Music For The Jilted And the Experience are two excellent
albums. one of my top top top favourites. I think The
Prodigy Expereince is the album i've listened to the most.
(I Care because You Do second, i think....hmm, perhaps
someone should do a topic)...

Anyway; Land Of The Fat sucked, but it had some great
tracks; Firestarter, Climbatize, Smack My Bitch...and Fuel
My Fire.

Prodigy rocks in an oldskool kind of way, me thinks. When I
was 15 I thought Music for the Jilted Generation was the
best record ever... It's still good, though more in an
old-fashioned, nostalgic kind of way.
Thought their last album was kinda shit overall though...

If they'd take themselves a little less serious, they'd
still be actually quite cool imo... :p
