admittedly I am no aphex twin afficianado, so i hardly own RDJ's entire catalogue. but anyway... i have this tape i taped off the radio that had an interview with RDJ and he brought an acetate of new songs that he played. this was probably late 1995 after "i care because you do" came out. the only song i could really decribe accurately was this one that has a kid talking about mashed potatoes in it, RDJ said the song was called "mashed tatties" but there are no songs with that name listed anywhere. a couple years after i taped this tape i played it for a friend (who at the time was the only other person i knew that was into that sort of music) he said that the songs were released, and for the life of me i can't remember what album he said they were on. so does anyone know this song? or do i really have a tape of unreleased aphex twin songs. I'm going to try to find the tape and upload it in the near future. |

word, thanks guys, that was a damn fast response. hopefully those other songs on that tape are on that album too, otherwise I'll upload 'em for you. well i bet you guys would be interested to hear the interview though, eh? |
