i checked out their website ( http://pweination.org/ ) and
I remembered where i heard that name before; on Prodigy -
Music for the Jilted Generation, the song "Their Law" is
coproduced by PWEI.

Has anyone here ever heard there music, and what style are
they?

They were rock but with an electronic slant. I never really
heard a lot. They had an anti-facist song called 'Ich Bien
Ein Auslander'. I think one or more of them is now in
Bentley Rythmn Ace.

Heh heh. I used to love PWEI when I was about 16.

I'd say they were indie-industrial, quite harder at times
than their contemporaries, Inspiral Carpets, EMF etc.

My girlfriend used to dig their music, but the only CD she
has is Ich bien... and it has 5 mixes of that song on it.
They were a rock band with an interest in electronics, as
jonesy said, but not as grim/ posturing as NIN for example,
more funny and joyful...

I was over a mate's house recently who is a little older
than me. His mate was going on about getting the 'Dos Didos
Mis Amigos' album. They still listen to the same shit they
were listening to about 7 or 8 years ago. I got a copy of
Menswear's album for my mate because its deleted (quite
rightly) and I saw it in an Oxfam shop. Its so stale. They
never like the shit I play apart from the obvious tunes that
only a fool would dislike. ITS NOT 19fucking95 ANYMORE!!!

yeah, they are too small, but it would do you no good to
have this cute young girls spread over half of your monitor,
your collegues would accuse you of porn-surfing.

which is exactly what I'm doing at this moment: alone in the
office, stuffing my face with yugo-produced chocolate bars,
listening to Company Flow (was listening to Amon Tobin the
whole morning) , chatting with you and surfing for porn.
Heaven can not be much better than this, can it?

You bastard! Your job sounds a hell of a lot better than
mine. Funcrusher Plus? EL-P has a new album coming out. I
still have to get Cannibal Ox.

well, actually, my fat-lady superior just walked in, but
that won't stop me, I'll use every chance to surf for dirty
pics/clips... But you're right, my job is extremely easy and
I get a ridiculously high salary... It's only temporary but
what the hell... Actually, I'm listening to CoFlow's
instrumental album "Little Johnny from the hospital", it's
excelent!! Not as legendary as Funcrusher plus but excelent
nonetheless... Yeah, CanOx is good, but I can't wait to get
hold of El's "Fantastic Damage" the net reviewers are
raving... The boys that do downloads for me claim they are
not interested in this album but I'll force them into
downloading by all means necessary.

So you're a pussy...I mean ahem...cat man Meho? My
girlfriend wants one and always drops hints. I like them
when they're kittens as they're really playful. Then they
get really moody, aloof and boring.

uh, not necessarilly, the eldest of my cats is 4 years old

for not being serious enough...

You criticise your cat? Ha, ha. Poor thing. Are you unaware
of the potentially damaging effects on one's self esteem
constsnt criticism can create?

for me...

no, no, why would i, I'm happy with the way it is, except
when she gets into my bed in the middle of the night to
sleep and then get's up before dawn and starts wreaking
havoc all over my room. Then I have to chase her out through
the window (which is where she comes from in the first
place)... Otherwise she's cool...

PWEI are fantastic in a oldskool kind of way! dos didos...
is a great album. some not-so-grat tracks but most are
fantastic! my faves would have to be karmadrome, teenage
grandad and ich bin ein auslander. check em out but don't
expect anything new or ground breaking!

I have, Tango. I've heard everything by PWEI except for a
few remixes. Back when Napster was in its prime I
downloaded PWEI only for like a week and a half!
