How was the windy city?? I've never been to the midwest.

well, i went out to a cubs game on friday. and they lost to
the dodgers. it was fucking cold :( anyway, the cubs didn't
even get a base-hit until the bottom of the 7th or some shit
like that. the dodgers whooped up on them. other than that,
went to the John Hancock building: 116 stories tall!, went
to the Navy Pier (would suggest never going there... too
many fucking little kids), went to Elmhurst College &
watched the jazz band (directed by Doug Beech, outstanding
director)... that is all.

yeah... it's like #2 in chicago... being that the sears
tower is #1 ... better view, coz it's not so high up in the
clouds.

I heard they closed the observation deck after 9/11...is it
open again?

offline Quoth from Sweden on 2002-04-28 20:18 [#00198319]

yeah, the observation deck however, is only on the 94th/95th
floor. out of 116 stories, i heard, 100 of them are used for
residential living space. ranging from $300,000 - $3.5
million. Oprah Winfrey & Jerry Springer live on the 91st
floor! :) :(
