I haven't looked this up, i've always just assumed it was a
fusing of Architecture and Techno, something along those
lines. I'm sure there's a good chance i'm way off, if so
please enlighten me or post your own theories if there is no
definitive answer.

It may have been created over the meshing of words, but I
have the feeling that it doesn't mean anything other than
what their music is at this point. Autechre means autechre.

the pattern seems to be formulating aesthetic sounds without
inherent meaning because hidden meanings are best left to
the audiences own imagination and thats what IDM is about.
I may be wrong however. But if it turns out that "autechre"
is French for "funky_all_star_crew" I will be very
disappointed....

BTW, acroyear2 is an old child's toy, and cfern is some sort
of project dealing with plants, not all of it is just made

music has hidden meaning (even the most superfical pop) and
