so yeah, I did see something on the news about this. It’s not a terrible tariff thing (yet) but that global warming is making the trees have a shorter lifestyle to make said syrup. The dude said his dad was just starting to make it in the last part of March the year he was born (the dude is 50ish) and now his season is over about mid-March. So there’s the great story Mark. They are looking into other methods, trees and artificial syrup but yeah no, we ruin the large rock. |
