Sometimes I wonder how the records on WarpMart are priced.
An example; Cylob-Rewind: 3 tracks, 3 remixes. Price:7£
Cylob-Lobster Tracks: 8 different tracks Price 3£

Haven't heard any of them, but how does it make sense?

what i dont understand is why buying an album directly from
warpmart (the label) costs more than buying the same album
at my local shop.

but why does it cost more? shouldnt it cost less since im
eliminating the middle man and buying straight from the
source? and i dont include shipping either.

yes! i unederstand how capitalism works.

here's a simple analogy that's easy to understand:

when i buy apples at the grocery store, it costs me, let's
say, 2$ a pound. when i go to pick them up directly from
trees at those special "come pick your apples yourself"
places, it only costs me 1$ a pound.

"but why does it cost you more at the grocery store, CORTEX,
youre buying the same amount of apples?!" you are probably
asking yourself.

- because the apple tree owners AND the store has to make
some money of my back, i reply.

know what im sayin'?

but it's the opposite for warpmart.

very rarely do i use warpmart, only for the hard to find
stuff which i cant get down the road. yes, it does seem
rather overpriced considering

b3n - is that that bloke from that antique thingy?

It's probably because they carry all the available stuff so
they know people will use it to "plug the gaps" in their
collections.

Mind you, Cortex is right, it should be cheaper...
