Good IDM collaborations?

Here are my thoughts:

Aphex Twin and Bjork
Squarepusher and Trey Anastasio (of Phish)
Autechre and Genesis p. Orridge (throbbing gristle/psychic
tv fame) or Flood (NIN engineer)

I know, these are ALL nearly impossible of happening, but i
think it would be interesting if this occurred.....

how about you?

the only real idm collaboration i've got is arovane &
phonem's "aer (valid)", which is quite tremendous in parts.

a chris clark and ovuca collaboration would sound brilliant
i think. two upcoming stars on the electronica scene.

a more unlikely collaboration would be boards of canada and
fennesz - boc adding the organic bits, and fennesz taking
care of the static hisses and noise washes.

about those.... thanks for the info.

Some good colabs that already exists:

Biosphere vs. HIA
Mike and Rich
Merzbow and Genesis P. Orridge
.....ah, there are loads more, can't think of any at the
moment.....

I personally enjoy Mike n' Rich though many others
don't..... I also highly enjoy Freeman Willis Hardy
Acid....

SP and AFX... mmm mmm good IDM.

I 've said this before but I'll say it again ... a Les
Claypool/Tom Jenkinson collaboration would be fucking
mental. Definitely want to see that.

That's because he heard RDJ's old repetitive tracks, I
wonder what he thinks of some of his newer tracks. I think
Rich really listened to Stockhausen and took his advice. His
tracks got far less repetitive. Compare the tracks Gesang
der Junglinge and Gwarek2, see any similarities? I think
Rich can learn from Karlheinz and vice versa.
