has anyone got any of the soul center series? i read a review that described it as techno with soul samples - which sounds weird yet fascinating! anyone recommend it?

Soul Center? Haven't heard of it but i agree it sounds interesting. I love soul. And i don't mean todays modern rnb but that good ol shit!!!
A friend of mine who is a techno dj plays some really funky techno tracks sometimes with old soul and funk samples.
He called that style something but i don't remember the name...........Chicago???
Quite good music =)

the four tops are phenomenal.. everyone here should be familiar with "Standing In The Shadows Of Love" and "Reach Out (I'll Be There)" .. melodies for miles, and that sound is so dope. i need to learn about the producers and session musicians from that era.
