Click to download Q Calls Again

Sorry if that didn't work, my HTML sucks and I dunno if
tripod supports hotlinking, if not get it from
http://members.lycos.co.uk/okhrana/QCallsAgain.mp3

Its a track I made ages ago. I made it almost entirely from
samples from 45's I bought from shops. It might not sound
like it, but this track took me ages of recording snippets
and getting it to fit right. Its not electronic obviously,
but well, I'd like to know what you guys think!

PS-Spot why its called what it is =)

I like it! It's fun. It reminds me of a more funked up
avalanches with the cut up style. Keep it up!

I'm glad you like it. It was actually supposed to be an
avalanches style track and its got samples from
everywhere....inluding Orson Welles, Johnny Balls's
Chemistry 45 and Quincy (who the q stands for incidently!)

I really like the flute too, its kinda serene, its from a
childrens storybook!

There's also some singing from broadway and other people
such as rod steward, wizard and some jamaican stuff.

I really enjoyed making it though it was far more work than
I anticipated. I always go vinyl hunting in Scarborough when
I visit my grandmother, its a veritable vinyl goldmine if
you know where to look, I don't think they've got many
samplists unlike sheffield!
