...in 'The Best of Aphex Twin' compilation idea use 'Search' and type 'vote' (by date) Rate the tracks on the Aphex albums you have heard enough to know the tracks individually with marks out of 10. The current list is breathtaking and perhaps surprising too !!!!! final results & track-listing on Friday ! PS> if you think 1. the idea sucks 2. its boring /pointless/waste of time I'm really happy for you . Who cares man? I mean really.... everyone has their own "best of" Aphex Twin and practicly every other band we like here. ITs nothing new. You cant have an opinionated BEST OF aphex twin and have everyone like it, beucause not everyone voted, hardly anyone {compared to # of members here} voted. So its a biased list..... its not fair to everyone here, so not everyone is going to enjoy it like you do. I know I dont care, because I have all these albums, all of them. And I dont need a best of, a long with tons of people. The idea was annoying and filled up the MB with crap. Im glad its over now. |

all i know is this; making a "best of" compilation is damn hard! i think i spent like 2 hours or something just to figure out what tracks that should be on it. After i was like: "fuck, why didn't i choose that one instead..." |

I contemplated joining in for a sec but then all of the sudden it seemed like a jumble of numbers and words...it would be impossible for me to make one best of..there's so many styles..moods..techniques.. flavours...ideas..eras..I mean a lot of the albums are already comps to begin with..ICBYD...springs to mind |
