We do not wear clogs, there are hardly any windmills and I
think there's an equal amount of drugs and whores in other
countries.
I think the only things unique here are gay-marriage and
legal euthanasia(under strict rules).

i've been to holland once, but it was years and years ago...
for the Vermeer exposition with my parents... i don't have a
lot of memories from it, but the few i had were good
memories.

:( I wanted to see more of the bin, and the concrete
stonehenge / parthanon thing at the back. Maybe tomorrow,
when it's warmed up. Thanks anyway.

i need to escape everything here so i can change. i feel
stuck. i need to go on a trip to some far away country
alone, to feel utterly alone, then to meet new people there,
hopefully inspiring me to have a different look on life. i
want to go to canada.

holland isnt a bad place to live in. i'm just stuck so it
wouldnt matter where i am.

this sounds pretty sad, but fuck it.

been there once. got very stoned in a bar called the
grasshopper and walked around looking at the
madness. the downtown scene was pretty dirty and touristy,
but the countryside looked nice.

i wish i would've had more time to explore around a bit.

that actually a common installment in most places?

I felt exactly like that (apart from the Canada bit, though
i'm sure it's lovely) and i leapt at the chance to move away
and just start again when i could. Sometimes it's for the
best to leave it all behind if it's only dragging you down.

i think of the fact that topics like this should be
closed at all times!

we can't have the first topic closed and a second one open,
that would be SO unfair.

i say hang the sick bastard that made this topic and ban him
and his family from the board!

"was it not that when The Netherlands were invaded, the
people had no surnames, and were forced to adopt them, and
so made up ridiculous ones?"

I do believe Paul is right, in your closed topic.

I can't remember exactly though. I'm so ashamed.
