the i think about this show now that its done the more i get bothered by it it started out REALLY good and had cool atmosphere and twin peaks vibe. then the 4th episode happened and it wasnt bad but it was a real change from the 1st 3. it shifted from a show thats mystical but ordinary 2 something extraordinary but concrete and real. plus it was totally pandering 2 the breaking bad type demographic if u know wat im talking about. the shift from mystical/ordinary vs extraordinary/real continues for the rest of the show mostly (i dont remember the details of eps 5-7 that much honestly) and especially in ep 8. where they reveal and kill the badguy. its wasted potential imo. like i wanted the yellow king/carcosa to be like abstract ideas instead they showed it as a real place. it was just sad they had the drawing of carcosa in the notebook and what a surprise in the ending episode there it is. i hoped they could keep this theme thru all the future seasons and revale it as some mystic force over years. maybe they can still do this i guess but i guess i just ddint like how everything was so LITERAL in the finale i dont get mad about the fake out symbols tho. they just prove how ppl who think they know eveyrthing on the internet are really just dumbos who think there way smarter then they really are (ie ppl who think breaking bad is better than dexter, or worse , ppl who think mad man is a good show at all cuz that show is the friggin WORST) also the whole show was basicly a rip of dexter season 5 |

btw I can say I've been lucky with mini-series lately, this TD and "The Fear" with Peter Mullan are quite unique among the usual flow of tv shit. |

I had a hard time following what they were saying. They have such thick southern accents and all the characters are mumblers. Had an ear pressed to the speaker the whole time. Aside from that, good show. |

i know what u mean i had 2 rewind in a few spots cuz i couldnt understand the main guy, the show even made a joke about it cuz in the last episode he says sentient meat and the other guy thinks he said scented meat sort of a lame joke but there wernt that many in this show so u take what u can get i guess lol |
