no longer able to enjoy electronic/techno

I need help with this problem I seem to have been having. I
no longer seem to be able to listen to and enjoy electronic
music. What can I do to solve this? Please do not recommend
music to me as that does not solve the root of the issue,
which is other people ruining it for me.

To clarify, it seems I cannot go anywhere on the internet
without hearing or hearing about electronic music or IDM. It
is mainstream now and there is no redeeming value is that
respect - might as well be watching football. What is
strange about this is the juxtapositioning of what seems to
be the general consensus of everyone who uses these kinds of
forums - that it is indeed still underground, and seems to
be this strange source of pride for many, as if it is some
kind of social treasure to be cherished and expounded upon
endlessly in shallow chit-chat. This in and of itself is
enough to sabotage anyone's interest who see music simply as
something to be consumed, not a social platform to hoist
oneself upon and beg for attention. But unfortunately that
is merely the tip of the iceberg. Kill off all the scum at
the top and what you have underneath is a shitbag industry
filled with hand-me-down label signings, daddy's record
label putting out endless streams of shit, buying followers
on soundcloud, and "music journalists" getting paid to say
music that sucks, doesnt

Surely this is a silly dupe. It stinks of trying too hard.

But, if you are for real, djharcode, i enjoy listening to
Autechre and enjoy following football. I hope that really
gets to you and you have trouble sleeping tonight!

If it's a dupe, maybe i shouldn't bother with what is said
as it's not serious and me engaging would be silly of me. If
the person is serious and has been with all the recent posts
(which i doubt) then it's also no point me getting worried
other his or her thoughts. You on the other hand, really
worry me. Is everything ok at home?

You are mentally ill dude. Nihilism and a lost of values
often leads to suicide.

You should probably have some cake, then. I made-up some
earlier.

If you think that elitism or a sense of secrecy is a
redeeming factor in anything, then perhaps you should
pretend you're a spy. Otherwise, what you like should be
what you like, because it appeals to you. Building your
character off of elitism is no different than academia scum
who try to spread their deceptive words to look down upon
people who don't believe what they see as truth.

Apple was underground and good, but become pop culture. It
doesn't change the fact that their industrial design and
Logic are BOSS. And just because the ugly girl at Starbucks
now thinks Squarepusher is cool, it doesn't take away from
the fact that the dude can still rock like no other. Daft
Punk's jillion dollar success doesn't take away from Around
The World.

So I think the real solution here is to plug some mdma, cuz
that shit hits so hard and you will love what you thought
you hated. And then you can listen to Richard D James Album
on loop whilst peaking on mdma and shrooms, and you will
remember why you started listening to this shit in the first
place. Also, I think it's a good idea to trim nose hairs,
because you cannot focus properly on priorities when your
nose is itchy as fuck.

Godspeed.

Hello peace.

Quite the contrary. What you have cherry picked out of my
statement is exactly what it that others do, which has
caused my inability to enjoy techno. I then contrast thid
with the fact that due to the internet, the concept of
undeground is just that, a concept, which can easily expose
someones true intentions, such as begging for attention or
looking trendy.

Apples design is not boss at all, they are money stealers.
If this were not the case, they would not have made 6
iphones with incrementally "new" features on each iteration.
I suggest you refresh your world view from 10 years ago.
