whoa, hey marcin! Lots of tiny things contributed to the place becoming less fun, and many people left. 1. I think the mass bannings years ago put off a lot of people. 2. Many of our favorite artists stopped producing as much. 3. Most people have lots of other very interesting things in their lives now. 4. The remaining people don't have critical mass to talk about new/different-but-still-related music directions, so new people don't have the same pull (I found this place by googling aphex). 5. The layout and limited features probably further put off new people. so there it is: old people left, new people have no incentive to get interested. |
