has 5 tracks listed metamorphosis 1-5 but I've never heard a

thanks sido :)

wasn't rdj supposed to remix something by glass in return
for the icct hedral orchestration?

anyway, glass has made some great stuff. could anybody point
me in the direction of similar music?

Great works by Phillip Glass IMO;

Koyuuniskatsi
Kundun
Satyragatsa
Low Symphony

I used to have a whole list of his shit that I loved but
have forgotten. Don't hassle me about spelling either >:(

mmm...that sounds interesting, will have to track that down
and have a listen...maybe it's something that's leaked
out...I HOPE SO:)..

AFX did remix Phil G's version of Bowies "Heroes" from the
Low symphony...think it's only available in Japan tho but
theres a MP3 doing the rounds...pretty sweet little track;
he's taken the original vocals and placed them on Glass's
instruments...(with some added Aphex fuckery of
course...)...

urb...check out Steve Reich ... he's another "Minimalist"
composer like Glass...

or Terry Riley... his "in C" piece was very influencial...

& also LaMonte Young - especially if you like Drones...

You can't go far wrong with any of these 3...together with
Phil Glass, they are the most famous Minimalists...

I saw a CD the other day with all of those you mention Jand.
Can't remember the name but it has a white cover I think.
Might be a good introduction.
