bochum welt is Italian...

... witha German name..

.. on a British label...

.. without any lyrics. Just noise.

How can you say his 'SCENE' is a nation ? Fuck fashion and
cliques ! Come together ! ( that sounded a bit pervy... ;)

than in istambul, know what i mean?

I know what you mean but you gotta admit it does centre
predominantly around the UK, even if thats changing

good music from around the world should be accessible
wherever you are!

I dont care personally. Although scandinavia is getting big
on the whole scene now.

Cygnus::No i haven't , i will check them out : )

Darth Manchu::Yeah your right , i forgot about the finnish
artists.
They got loads of great artists in finland.

Theres alott of swedish to but i don't care much for them ,
except for Pluxus and Andreas Tillander.

This thread is more sad than any of the ones that got
closed. Who cares who has the current highest number of
good idm artists at the moment?

we are youst reflekting over whats happening at different
places,it is not a contest.
But you are to stupid to realize that.

I'm just crabby and yes being stupid. Go on.

jupitah! ahoy!

offline jupitah from Minneapolis (United States) on 2002-04-15 00:55 [#00174571]
Points: 3489 Status: Lurker

The original question was about who is the "best". Kinda
set me off. There's just so much music coming from every
corner of the Earth that idea just sounded silly and
pointless.

offline jupitah from Minneapolis (United States) on 2002-04-15 00:56 [#00174573]
Points: 3489 Status: Lurker

That said I guess my answer is I can't decide.

i see what you mean jupitah, but cortex just mean idm-wise
of course theres great music everywhere, and in many
idfferent types of it from different cultures
but he just meant where the best "IDM" atmosphere was... if
u want to classify music like that

offline jupitah from Minneapolis (United States) on 2002-04-15 01:00 [#00174577]
Points: 3489 Status: Lurker

i understand folks, old man jup has taken his meds and is
now relaxing. i still cant decide as i dont listen to too
much "idm" i guess.

offline Sido Dyas from a computer on 2002-04-15 01:02 [#00174580]
Points: 8876 Status: Lurker

yeah i can see what you mean jupitah
but sad? i think this topic is interesting.

Sad topics to me is
"look everybody im a old daddy"
"Starwars suck ass"
"housepets" (allthough i couldn't resist to reply)
"i bought a pair of socks today"

what's odd, those all sound like appropriate
statements/respons+es by the likes of rdj/s.b.+r.b.

Darth Manchu, who were you thinking of from Scandinavia?

offline CORTEX from Canada on 2002-04-15 05:18 [#00174915]
Points: 3346 Status: Regular

jupitah:
i asked which idm scene people felt was best/most
interesting was to find out if there was any "scene" i wasnt
aware of. the reason for this was because i stayed away
from the erman scene for the longest time and now, i realize
what i have been missing out on (ie, pole, jan jelinek,
mouse on mars, etc.).

i dont understand why you think it's sad...

offline CORTEX from Canada on 2002-04-15 05:18 [#00174917]

erman = german, of course

offline CORTEX from Canada on 2002-04-15 05:20 [#00174922]

ps - it's not a competition (ie, my country is better than
yours cuz it's got more and/or better artists than yours)
