yesterday you said that aphex twin is playing in
antwerp,belgium
in a topic that is closed now.

Is this true?

Or was it a joke?

If this is true...I'll go!!!

(why didn't I know?)

Did some 'B' stuff that's sounding nice, it's a cross
between 'Stimmung' Stockhausen and serious electronics, Some
W.I.T. to let my hair down and finishing the artwork for my
crap...How's everything going your side?

i didn't ask you how work was ;) isn't it about sailing
season again? how's your girly friend? you can't be that
busy with music. but if you insist on bringing it up, what's
the W.I.T. story anyway?

i'm buried in school work--papers, tests, reading, homework.
i am readying the next PHUX release for next month however
and that will be really exciting. you should contribute some
graphics to it, i haven't seen any of your photoshop work.
if you wanna see some of my recent ones i can put some on
the web right now.

Next week is sailing time!!! The guy that runs electroclash
the label mailed me and we spoke and he's really nice,
simple as that really, it's just a bit of fun.

Have you heard 'stimmung'? you can stream it at amazon or
it might be on soulseek?

I'm only doing the preliminary artwork and DR are finishing
it. Post some of your stuff though it'd be
interesting.....

Good luck with all the homework!

hehe have fun sailing... i remember one of the first
messages i read from you was about how your day is divided..
that one's a chuckle and a half

i haven't heard stimmung but i'll check it out. remember
though i can't really use soulseek at school cos it's more
or less blocked. if you wanna mp3 it for me (and that FAWN
"vengeance" track... *COUGH*) you can upload it to the ftp i
emailed you about last week.

anyway i like a tiny bit of electroclash i just think it's
too bland to be enjoyable or fun... let me know how things
turn out though i'm sure it'll be good.

ugh... DR... please no more minimalism or pretend flashy
advertisements.

i'll upload some jpg's to a page, brb..

I've known Ian from DR for nearly 12 years!! He laughs at
his own 'creations' all the time. There won't be any
cropmarks and silly printing references thrown in this
time.....

I'm coming from an EBM stance to this Electroclash nonsense,
it's one part industrial, two parts sex, don't punish me
for having a laugh!!!! only kidding.

i bet yours are better than DN's... hell i could do a better
job than DN, that style is soooooo played out (i'm sorry). i
hope they keep things fly for you cos their layouts have
marred some really excellent releases.

funny sex music..... i really don't think you can outdo
lovage! we'll see though.

here're some pics i've made this year.. it's not my best
work cos i've had so little time to make art for the sake of
it. that's why i included some of the desktops i've made for
my job (check #2 and #5 in particular).

happy cycling

ah gee kind of some depressing stuff with my mom mixed in
with some less depressing.. we played scrabble today like we
did when i was young'un, that was fun

work is sucking the life out of me creatively tho.. 8 1/2
hours a day so by the time i get home i don't wanna write,
don't wanna play music, barely want to do anything, and even
when i do, i have to run the house by myself and visit my
mom.. really the only fun i've had all weekend is watching
"how high" with redman and method man. forward me some of
your interview questions if you have some good ones..

Talking about emails, Mr D, I was going to send you one
about your kind offer of Vibert promo, but I can't find your
address. I sent an email in reply to your last one, but that
was ages ago and not sure if you got it.

i got an email from the editor-in-chief of this internet
magazine called ause.org which i had never heard of..
he really liked my future of music page and offered me a
non-paid writing position with his zine.. the only thing is
i browsed through it and it's a bunch of stoner rock
really.. he said he really wants me on board because he
wants to cover my diverse music, and he can get me in free
to concerts if i tell him a couple weeks in advance what
they are.. i dunno though it all seems a little too "almost
famous" for me. i told him i go to school in rural
pennsylvania for most of the year and he said that was
alright. i also told him i didn't have a lot of time; same
thing. i'm still mulling over the idea. i'd like to get some
semi-professional writing on my resume but the thing is i
never wanted to be a rock journalists (blech) i wanted to
write about real things, or, conversely, fiction.

Mr. Deeeeeeeeeeeez Nuts! xceque i got a cd promo of the new
luke vibert 'yoseph' in the mail last week. you're going to
love it! it's all acid techno 2003 style. classic vibert
IMO! i don't think it's on soulseek yet surprisingly enough,
but some ripping groups have been telling people not to
share pre-release albums on p2p networks and it's actually
been working. the dead prez album was sent to journalists
back in february or march and it only popped up on the
internet last week.

i may.. i mean free concerts is hard to turn away from, but
i'd still have to cover my own expenses. i thought it was
cool that someone could think of hiring me based on a
tripod.com page! but if it starts to get like "almost
famous" i'm pulling out like a slimey hooker.

popped through my letterbox the other day and it's lovely
:)
Well, ok it didn't pop through my letterbox since it's a 12"
and therefore too big, but... er... well... I'll shut up

The only freebies I ever get are when Warp stick extra stuff
in with my orders, which happens surprisingly often. Must be
the advantages of having an amusing and memorable name. (I
knew there had to be one)

what's your last name (if you don't mind)? i'd order from
warp, but, well, they're total fuckups, and it's pretty
expensive. i'd risk their stockroom drug induced mishaps if
they had a NYC location to ship from because there's so much
i want that i can't get at my usual barnes & noble web site
(don't knock it, it's so cheap that i'd be a fool not to
order from them!).

Ooh, I can't tell you that. I hate my name and all the
trouble it's caused me, during my school life especially. If
I could change it easily I would. I only give it out if I
have to.

As for Warp being fuckups, I've rarely had any problems at
all. All the packages come well protected, and the few times
I've had things fail to arrive, or incorrect contents,
they've put them right, send the right stuff next day
special delivery and included more freebies. I've no
complaints at all. Sometimes I find myself hoping that they
did fuck up so I can get some more goodies :)
