So are we sharing full length movies on youtube then? This
isn't a perfect film, but definitely more sincere and
interesting than the title suggests. A slice of early 80s
working class New York and a lead who doesn't talk. Some
great scenes and music. Good late at night with a smoke.
Enjoy your weekend

it's a brilliant film
it's a canadian board film innit?
i remember those and some others being on channel 4 in about
1990 - such a treat
i paid about £70 for the VHS back then because I had to see
it again, it was worth it coz it wasnt shown again in UK or
available for years
i reckon it is a perfect film,if one tried to improve it in
ways that are currently fashionable you'd lose the essence
the main character went on to really let himself down,
especially in terminator 2 huh

reminds me of "after hours" scorcese's first i think, that's
a cracking 80's film too, along with weekend at bernie's of
course but now i have slipped right off topic, apologies

i've yet to see a remake that's any good anyway, total
recall one looks piss poor. love the original, though.

i do like the concept though, but it's so insanely cheesily
done... but it sort of becomes good because of it. hard to
describe.

ok, rewatching the tower now, it's awesome. there are tape
winding effects on the computer voice when he pulls his card
in/out, amazing

wow, log out for six months and miss a reply by ten
minutes... Anyway, it's nice to find you a fan of this film!
The last 15 or 20 minutes feels like a different movie to
me, but the rest is brilliant :)

Night of the Hunter's a classic, good you tipped that one
staz.
