If George Lucas had any balls episode 2 and three would be 'R' rated, to show the 'darkside', non of these piss poor romance storys with cutesy characters.
I'm not a StarWars nerd, I've got this saber coming out of my ass for a reason.

The Necronomicon is bullshit - Lovecraft had a dream about it and made it all up. The 'Mad Arab Abdul Alhazrad' never existed. There are spell books out there, but anything under the name 'The Necronomicon' is usually a big fat money earning BOLLOCK!

I like the fact that the three of us talking about this are 'wizards'...
The Necronomicon has loads of stories dedicated to it, most of them fiction, some of them fiction perpurtating to be actual spell books. Me, I was never sucked in... although it'd be nice if Shub-Niggarath, Yog Sothoth and Azathoth do actually exist..

It would be nice if any of them existed. Although I remember reading.. and always wanted to try the ritualistic ways of opening the 7 layers of hell.. but hey.. if you fuck up ONCE {and there were like 100's of rules you had to follow on the way.. all strange..} then hell would open up and everyones souls would be crushed.

I though Lovecraft lived a pretty much ordinary life, he was rather ill and frail from a young age but that's about it. There was nothing spooky about his choice of subject matter either, he was inspired by Poe, Hodgson etc and also by his dreams.

Lovecraft was a bigot that died at a young age following an unsuccessfull carreer. He was an alchoholic. He lived with his aunt.
The Necronomicon was a fake written by some hippy in the sixties that thought it might be a good way to make money.
I have read apx 70% of all of lovecrafts work. It is neat for the most part, but ive kinda grown out of it.
Wanna hear a strange story about my first HP Lovecraft experience? Listen to this. When I first discovered Lovecraft, I was staying at my mothers in a Village Town in Nova Scotia. The only other buildings in about a mile radius were both churches, each with small cemetaries on the property. When it was late at night, it was literally pitch black. Dark. Anyways, I started reading this book (Four stories inside were in the book, the main one being 'In the mountains of madness'), and almost as soon as I started reading it, my room took on the smell of death. I shit you not, it smelt like something had up and died in the walls. The smell was nowhere else in the house, and got so strong I had to leave the room. I didn't sleep in there that night, opting for the livingroom couch, as it smelt so bad. It took me just under two days to read this book, and almost *a half hour after I finished the smell literally dissapeared*. Now, this wasn't my imagination, because both my mother and sister commented upon the horrible smell.
Was that wierd or what?

Ia Ia Chtullu faghn!
Necronomicom is bullshit but i got the original "Goulish Cult" from Von Junzt
There is a real good biography of Lovecraft from Michel Houellebecq.
One of my favorite book is "Voyage au bout de la nuit" de Ferdinand Céline which message is "The best way to live is to flee"
I dont like heroic fantasy except Moorcock Tolkien and some Herbert...
