as far as i am a fan of kaku i rather believe some experts in nuclear sciences than a theorist who probably wasn't even on site. |

for real! kaku is such a likable guy, but he's a bit 'fringe' as well, very speculative. i'm sure some of the kooks on here will lap this up, though, although it's not 'infowars' type extreme. |

ye he's quite the sensationalist and not very well read-up on different stuff he talks about from outside his academic field. i mean he is like super serious about ufo's and he has made quite a fool out of himself with all those 2012 claims about giant solar flares and "space - katrinas". a pity because i absolutely admire him for trying to explain very complicated physics to a broader audience. |
