I know. It's been 56 months since their last release (if you
don't count Liam's mix album)

I think Liam seems to have a good sense of quality control.
I mean he's talked about tracks he's completed in interviews
for the past 4 years and how he's restarted the album
recordings and such.
All three of Prodigy's albums are very different. I still
find the production on Fat of the land amazing today.

I hope it doesn't suck, it's still possible but I have a
positive feeling

nah, i think Music for the Jilted Generation was the real
milestone, it sounded like nothing lese wen it came out and
is still wicked today!

Liam is even more quiet than AFX isnt he!! just thinking
about it.

offline Phatbert 000 from Augsburg (Germany) on 2002-04-11 17:40 [#00167975]
Points: 1618 Status: Lurker

yeah, that video is extreme.

Btw did anyone else here know that the track "Kittens" off
Underworld's Beaucoup Fish album was originally titled
"S.M.F.U" meaning Stack My Fridge Up. They should've kept
that title.

offline Tasos from Athens (Greece) on 2002-04-11 17:40 [#00167976]

its 'Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned'...

smack my bitch up was great, and I loved the break-beat of
'experience' and its singles... 'jilted' was great too...
the 'fat' though... just same :-( ...

I thought The Prodigy was just ripping off NIN with The fat
of the land. Like they couldn't have found a tackier person
to rip off.

The prodigy ceased being interesting after music for a
jilted generation.

You know, admiting you like NIN is about the same thing as
running into a crouded colluseum, shouting out that you love
dressing in the color purple, and then collapsing into tears
when nobody pays attention to you. As far as I can see at
least.

promoting keith from dancer to vocalist was a bad idea. i
have to say my favorite release is the voodoo people single.
rat poison is the shit

I hope it will be more in 'experience' dub-rave-breakbeat
style, that was my favourite... I fear that Liam Howlett
isn't as energetic as he used to be so it'll probably be a
pollished pop release with cheesy vocals.
