Went and saw the advance screening of this movie yesterday.
I had been eagerly anticipating it and was rather
disappointed by it. It's got a few laughs scattered
throughout but generally it was a Fail simply for the fact
that Simon Pegg and Nick Frost play the straight man to the
digital sockpuppet being voiced by (the increasingly
annoying) Seth Rogen

2/5

the critics are not quite that fond of it...among top
critics it rates about 57% on Rotten Tomatoes as compared to
about 94% for Shaun of the Dead and 92% for Hot Fuzz and
about 76% for Scott Pilgrim (directed by Edgar Wright)

They had first announced that their next movie with Edgar
Wright was going to be like a mashup of Disaster movies
like Hot Fuzz is to Action and then they went their seperate
ways.
