Here's the alter egos that you'd always wanted, and always
expected from your musicians-of-choice:

True Snares: Aaron has a go with a real orchestra and jazz
musicians. It will be released on blu-ray (since he's
already experimented in 5.1 sound) with interviews by the
man himself. He may also call himself simply "Aaron". Come
on, mr Funk, it's a great idea.

Inside the Outside (ITO): Boards of Canada's new alter ego
project, and spiritual successor to Geogaddi. It's more of
everything: greek mysticism, occult references and 70s
nostalgia. It won't be before long that someone discovers
that you can actually play the whole disc backwards, and
speed it up to 7 minutes and 6 seconds (6 minutes and 66
seconds) to reveal a secret track. Reviewers will call it
"pure evil with no hint of irony". Track titles will vary
from "Watch me now" (first track) and "Animation of the
statue".

Now you go!

I don't think I'd be able to let myself do this, but carry
on, I honestly enjoy those posts.
They're silly and fanfictiony, but there's also this kind of
mythical or mystical aspect that drew me to this music and
community in the first place.

it's okay, we still love you. personally, though, i'd like
to hear a geogaddi ver 2, and a "true" orchestral jazz score
by v snares. the blu-ray, on the other hand, that's the
"fanfictiony" part.
