Now that TED has been mostly infiltrated by agenda pushing global warming politicians, search engine optimizers, corporations, spammers, feminists and such, "the science network" seems like a good alternative based on the couple videos I've seen so far. Not being on youtube also gives it AIDS-free points.

They had good videos a few years ago like those, but if you click on "talks" the new ones are usually pretty lame from what I've seen.
