realising myself that the specifics are too sensitive for me too kind of hypocritical of me to make a thread about it expecting others to talk while I am too afraid myself. ok, here goes... had one last year. took a load of drugs to escape, woke up from a k-hole (+ 2c-b), and I was literally another person. just like how a person with dissociative identity disorder has their alters, it was like there had been this other person inside of me. it was the most bizarre, surreal experience I have ever had in my entire life. really, I've not been the same since. |

Well, first don't worry at all because it is normal that the "specifics are too sensitive" (there would be exceptions) And you were not a hypocrite through your act of writing this thread. I will tell one detail - I also experienced states of dissociation, but not of the same kind as you (This category has more than one designated "disorder"). I understand that often this would call for 'grounding' practices. And I know it's hard. Time provides also opportunity for hope even though we all will die. Learning, grounding and a very distinct kind of surrender. Maybe offerings. |
