2 million minutes is almost 4 years of straight playtime... THAT'S NUTS!
Imagine how long it'd take to work on that shit... Now that's the kind of effort we need for the new age of music. None of this "one track that's almost okay" on an EP that's 12 minutes long bullshit.

But I guess not everyone can be part of it...

There will be two parts to this:
1. Songs that will be generated at random from banks of samples but will still be recognisable as structured compositions. Drum patterns, melody lines, effects etc. will have a number of random elements (for example the notes and spacing of the melody) but work within rules too so that each track is not just a random mess (bass and melody will be in the same key as each other at the beginning of each bar) eight four bar sections will be generated when the song is created these will then be sequenced. Similarly sequencing will be generated for volume and panning of tracks on a whole song scale (the drums may not come in until the third bar and the like)
2. Songs that will be chaotic messes out of sync with one another, from cacophonous dins to frosty ambient soundscapes.
1000000 is actually a massive under estimation in terms of unique compositions produced for there will be trillions based upon tiny changes. 1000000 is an estimate in terms of unique compositional 'tracks' i guess. As in every combination of synth sound with every combination of drum machine with every combination of bass noise with every combination of ambient noise etc. etc.
I did an ambient soundscape generator that had a possible 4398046511104 combinations of unique places, before you factored in the many many little changes in panning, effects, pitch etc.
I'll see if i can get it to run as an executable and upload it.
