That was from MTV Europe, which I don't know what it's like now, but back then was more permissive than it's big brother in the US. Something you'd never see on the US version you also see them (gasp!) smoking. I look forward to sneaking some beers into the cinema to see this, unless it's at a cinema that sells beers, I suppose. |

thanks but what i mean is how 3d is a 3d movie. or what is the angles you can view it at and it still looks good in. 360 degries so you can walk around it or ~45 degries so its like the movie screen is a stage or less so you just can move your head a little or closer to 0 only the angle between your eyes line of site so its only 3d for dep. perception |

did anyone see avatar at the cinema , with the glasses on? was that any good? can you watch it on dvd or do you need a higher frame rate? hey, they are also using super slow-mo cameras also , I've heard the opening sequence is that of all the guys getting hit in the head and there reactions filmed at ultra high speed and slowed down for the movie. |

Yah... A "3-D" movie is obviously just 2-D, with the illusion of depth in z-space (forward/back). Cuz REAL 3-D vision, is seeing all sides of objects simultaneously, which is some trippy shit. So being that vision in-life is actually 2-D with depth perception, there's no way a cinema is going to give a more "realisitc" experience than that. I imagine the peak of cinema will be a totally immersive virtual reality experience, buuut I imagine directing such a film would be TOUGH, especially consdiering that most film directors suck doing basic 2-D color shit. |

3d is overrated, after 5 minutes the woah effect vanishes and you sit in a dark room with a shitty movie playing on a screen and weird glasses on your face Unless it's a movie with a good story to tell, a thing I have yet to see on 3d cinemas |
