Unfinished music

post unfinished music or works in progress that you will
never finish, like this

After 10 years of some serious music composition shit, I
finally quit serious music, cuz I was falling apart mentally
and becoming suicidal and schizo and shit. But on the plus
side, I now have hundreds of 90% finished tracks that will
be heard with new ears when I return to them in several
months time.

That is like... a huge secret to awesome choonage-- remix
thyself with new ears~!

I doubt you were becoming suicidal because of music.

ha, i know what you mean,
i told myself i quit for good a few months ago,
now i feel i want to finish some tracks which im finally
certain i want to make some major changes in.
i just wish i knew about including samples in reason song
files
before, cause now i got to resave every damn track i want
to
finish on the new computer :/

this sounds like a nice track guybrush.
Doesnt feel right to finish what you've crafted though
mate.
Could go for a remix, but that's not what you're looking
for.
Sounds like its finished, or not far from it to me.

Naw, man... It was too much concentration, too much OCD,
too much pushing conceptual limits that nobody cares about.
And I was racing against non-existent "time", cuz although I
believe nobody can really steal the essence of one's style,
the music I was working on was at least some of the best
shit I heard around, sooo I really wanted to get it out
asap, buuut I couldn't.

June was the last month for my serious music shit, and it
was like 150~200 hours of work left (~19 tracks, over an
hour), which I just couldn't finish. I failed myself in
some sense, but I at least saved my sanity.

I mean, I wasn't even working on paying jobs- so had little
food for money- because I so believed in the importance of
finishing my music.

Man, I was just listening to some of the shit from my recent
unfinished album... FUCK MOTHERFUCKER FUCK. I will
conceitedly and arrogantly say, that it is still fucking
great.

I will... finish..... it....... one day.

I actually have an album BEFORE THAT, that is also fucking
bomb diggity, FUKCKCKCKCKCKCKCKKC!

Oh, yah, the older unfin album is ~30 tracks, HAHAHA...
loooooong

fuck... I can't wait to get my shit together so I can
afford to work on music without becoming literally homeless.

This track of mine actually has a couple minutes that aren't
finished and included in the clip.

From one of my projects dealing with acoustic stuff and
sampling my own percussion (in this case, bottles and
plastic bag).

i like this. for some reason it reminds of illusion of gaia,
an old rpg to the SNES. the track sounds finished, though.

i like this, too. it's really nice. reminds me of the film
alien, and it feels like you're hovering around in space,
without it sounding 'spatial', or wide. good stuff!

this one is nice but unfinished. the tune is lovely but i
cant seem to cut it together in any normal way. it seems it
sort of works as an incomplete piece especially when in the
background. and its called vivian sicktray which is a daft
name

This is unfinished, but I am *definitely* going to finish
it.

I don't really have many unfinished pieces that I'm not
going to finish. =\
