I got the RDJ-album for my birthday, and i was listening to that track on my new headphones today. And suddenly, in the middle of my walk home, I realized that i never thought much of this track. And then i notized that it atually is a really good track...i was almost touched to tears. This track rules.... well...small thoughts from a Junktion |

That would be excellent Phresch. I have always thought that Aphex Twin should one day work with Ensemble Moderne. I think they would do it. They did "Yellow Shark" and they did "Music for 18 Musicians". I think they would definitely be willing to do a project with Aphex Twin. I think Kronos would be willing to do a collaboration with Aphex Twin also. Maybe one day we could be so blessed... |

That is one of THE defining electronic tracks. It's perfect, such a sweet balance... abrasive/pretty, girl/boy... Drukqs lacks this kind of magical track. |

Actually, i dont think much of it! not to be pessimistic, but notice that the drumm work is sloppy, and energyless. the classical instruments are pretty boring, compared to most other composers. personally i think "4" is so much better done. also, i once found a live version of girl/boy song, that had much more complex snare rushes! and it was great. much better than the original. |

4 is a very well put together track. My fave off RDJ has to be fingerbib. My heart cries everytime i hear it. Its one of those tracks where he manages to get down his emotions almost perfectly. |

Have you guys heard Radiohead live recordings?? that cd is freaking great, I've never heard Aphex live. hmm I can start a thread of whats the best concert, I think im gonna do it, just dont bash me for it. |

Ah yes, great synth in trans europe express! i was thinking, you might want to investigate "man machine". theres a track there, "the model", (you´ve probably heard it, or of it), that sounds like fingerbib, with corny vocals! |

Yeah that was my first Aphex song to. I love that track!!! It still gives me goose bumps sometimes. Have you guys heard the live version that starts evil and then goes back to normal? Roskilde 97 ? It comes after inkeys and the two mix perfect with each other. |

The first afx track i heard was Milkman, and liked it, so i got girl/boy, i had never heard anything like it before in my life. ive been an rdj fan ever since. god, such a good song, gives me fucking tingles every time i listen to it |

girl/boy song is classic RDJ, always gives me goosebumps when the beats crash over you toward the end after the break. i think the songs on RDJ album have such near perfect balance and contrast in compostion, something that the Drukqs beat tracks don't quite acheive, i think. |

I've also got a life version of Girl/Boy, dont know where it was played cuz it came labeled "A live collection" but its alot better, with different drums and extended ending. U know when it gets all mellow and just fades out, well instead it goes on with the insturments for a bit. |

Girl/Boy gives me goosebumps everytime at the end where the drums trrrrrrrrr away, and it leaves the srtings, then as it fades out they decend into a lower down notes and sound like they've really been played by an orchestra, and its incredible. |
