put analords in 'rest' folder in aphex twin. i absolutely
dislike recent aphex, screw that guy. old afx is where it's
at. now just have to sell the records

I'd sell mine if anyone would take the fucking things off of
me. If he'd stopped at Windowlicker or HAB maybe... but
no... the fucked up Jungle and signing Wisp.

Well done Big.

The intro to Cow Cud Is A Twin still gets me with its door
slamming glory. That album has Acrid Avid Jam Shred and
Alberto Balsalm which are just classic.

SAW 85-92, Polygon Window and all the old stuff that i
thought would never be topped has in fact been at least
equalled by analord tracks such as w32.deadcode.A, crying in
your face, pissed up in se1 and many more. Probably
bettered, in fact, since in order to equal those early
records, these Analord tracks have to compete with all all
the stuff that goes with those records. The 16 or 17 years
of emotional connections with those records, their novelty
and brilliance, being in the prime of your life, all the
lsd, the unexplored future, the healthy knees and powerful
erections. the fact that i can even put Analord on a par
with SAW 85-92 is literally blowing my mind as i type this.
OMG! Analord is BETTER THAN Selected Ambient Works

analords are ok

some are good, some are simply ok, very few are bad

but they werent groundbreaking as the man was in the early
and mid ninetees

Its a common theme.
Human has depression/low self esteem and dopamine that
somehow fuels great creation.
That creation creates recognition/fanboys/etc that overboost
the ego somehow negatively affecting the motive/quality of
the creation.
I like to be hated for this reason. And my art is excellent
because of it, such as this ascII picture:

@_@ fart %%%cool
|\|\|\|\|\|\|\|\|\|\|\
smurfs alf **%

freqy right now my fav tracks are the first two tracks of
that playlist i posted in [#02337048], so that's afx,
analogue bubblebath 5 - 04 (untitled) and afx - .215061

aphex is old now and irrelevant. his latest stuff is a
disaster. its so tedious and uninspiring; might as well give
up rather than shame himself. i'll give the new album a
chance - if it ever arrives, but if that's crap i'll write
him off completely.
