it happens to me too but w/o music playing, not kidding ya. maybe it's the subtle seismic activity i feel when i chill on my bed at night and there are any noises/distractions around. anyway x years old music can take a different feel just placing yourself/the sound source in a different position than the one you normally use. i noticed that playing with bass frequencies into a space tends to speed up/slow down things. |

what i wanted to say is that your body just like any object, or vibration into a room is an active part of a music and plays a relevant role in the listening experience. a motorbike passing on the street affects the way the music sound for example, and if you pay attention enough to include such changes into a space, a x years old track will amost probably sound 'new'. |
