It's a beautiful fragment of a stellar soundtrack.

I've taken to singing Metropolis over the string synthline
of the End Theme to Blade Runner.

I agree about the book.Although I still love the film.
I dislike being asked...'yeah but which one?The
original?directors cut?Extended cut?Special
Edition?Collectors?'
My standard reply has become,'Stop your nose from bleeding
and ask someone else.'

I agree .. about the film. For me it's about the atmosphere,
the look, that world, the general story ... I don't even
mind his Private Dick narration over the top on the
original, it was just part of the film.

I haven't read the book, and I listened to the soundtrack
before I saw the film. I believe the deep world of the Blade
Runner film benefits from Vangelis' compositions.

Harrison Ford can't play any other character than Harrison
Ford, but sometimes he has a whip and sometimes he's turning
off replicants.

One of my all time faves. The whole OST is very special
though.

Classic track for a classic film.

Some really stand out and iconic moments all through the
film too.Pris going from drowned-rat skittish and
vulnerable,to supersexy and flexible, and her chirping
'accelerated decrepitude...'when talking of
Sebastian.Tyrells creepy seduction of Roy Batty.Deckard
pushing Rachel against the wall...All good stuff.I think I
shall watch it again very soon.

tears in the rain is still one of the most memorable scenes
for me.

perfect synchronicity of fucking amazing lighting, framing,
music score, acting, and lines.
