What will happen to the inters-net within a hundred years or so? maybe? A virtual world we can all live in as real as the one we are in now.....everyone feels happy and feels young ,where you can't even stub your toe on a table leg if you do , you feel it but it just feels o.k. a world where you can design your own planet...everyone has their own world ( you can live in a magic castle , or you could live bizzaree ,become a bouncing ball and live in a ocean cube?) You can jump into another persons world on invite instantly no need to travel ...but you can pretend to travel if you want ,in a space ship you invented or downloaded listen to music on the way ....or you can hack into another world!! but that will be hard to do ,lol :P kinda like the net but real and ting. |

probably have the option to live for as long as you want but (if we are all on crowded earth ) once you have kids you die 30 years after you become great grand parents!!! until then you can live forever lol or until we can expand in to the universe and over population is not a prob :P |

i just wanna have fun! I had an idea, I thought about buying a massive giant house near a lake away from society, turn it into a self sustaining 'off the grid' house with loads of solar panels, big wind turbines, wells ect which power a room full of battery cells. This house would be for xltronicans (and any friends you have especially girls ha) grow vegetables and things in the garden. (but also have access to a super market which we go to once a month. the house will be nicely decorated with space age designs, a massive cinema room with a self service drinks snacks section, the bedrooms will be tiny rooms just for sleeping in (like in tokyo hotels) so it encourages social activity . The idea of ownership would be at a minimum, we share everything we have and if it breaks we all pay for a new one, or upgrade. There would be a music studio and rehearsal rooms for artists, a wood workshop for people who want to make new furniture and cool things. A gym and giant jacuzzi which always plays cool ambient music and has nice colors and soft lighting. There would be different lounge areas, video games room with lan setup, we could have a tournie running each week outside we would have a large tent for having raves and music performances, comedy, poetry nights ect and a bouncy castle for people that get bored. i love to dream :P |

nice find dagbit . i wonder how small a projector could get? meet someoen at a club and project and listen to their art and creative videos. i think the ideas they have within the idea itself are just as smart too . like scanning books and getting further info and items in the supermarket...scan a tin of soup and it tells you the maker of the soup is an insane multi national hell bent on eastern child slave abuse ....great man ...never fund evil again. |

i think that's a cool concept, but i would like to see more of an integration of machine and human, like if the camera was behind the retina and the sensors where implanted in your finger tips etc the digital display could be projected somehow in front of you which only you can see. so that you don't look like a dork with a big helmet and gadgets everywhere |
