Best board icon!

Hey, everyone!
If you had to vote, who would you say has the best icon? My
vote would be for Inverted Whale--that's brilliant, man!
But AmonBrune gets a close runner-up in my book.

Wow, thanks! The name came in a dream, the icon from
images.google.com. :)

ahhahahaha No problem, Whale! But that is absolutely
amazing--I laugh every time I see it! That icon of yours is
great--I try to read this board every morning--when I see a
guy with an whale coming out of the water upside down, it
makes me happy. Call me crazy, but it's so funny that I
can't be upset when I think of it!

you can not deny the Wooden Man

offline Spookyluke from United States on 2002-04-02 04:22 [#00154424]

I've said this before, but the wooden man just looks a
bronze bell to me.

bronze bell? what are you talking about? he's a damn zen
meditating wooden man

offline windowlicker from Nashvegas on 2002-04-02 04:24 [#00154428]

Dude prolly has a shitty monitor, or his resolution all
fucked

offline Spookyluke from United States on 2002-04-02 04:25 [#00154429]
Points: 1955 Status: Lurker

Yah, but it looks like a bell--look from a distance.
His arms look like the sides of the bell and the head looks
like the top. Heh, I think it looks funny--it's an optical
illusion. Some people see a wooden man, others see a bronze
bell.

yeah looks pretty straight to from over here

offline Spookyluke from United States on 2002-04-02 04:26 [#00154432]

My monitor is good, as is my resolution.
It looks like a bronze bell--it's a different way of looking
at it. Anyone else agree with me? I would've given it
runner-up if it would've looked more like a bell!

i thought the one i had on before was pretty cool....it was
a pic from the newspaper of my gnarley car wreck, wiht my
car split in two pieces....but no one ever asked me about it
so i guess no one knew what it was so i changed it to what
you see now which is the art work for the 7"x11" tatt i have
on my chest....so yeah i vote for the one i had on before
this one of my car wreck that no one seemed to care....

That sounds cool, Evol!
Hell, if I were in the newspaper, that would be the picture
I'd use!

if this woodenman is so at piece with himself, then why is
he tilted? what can't even sit straight? i think it'll take
that guy quite some time before enlightenment...

because he is in the half-lotus position as explained
earlier....this requires that you sit slightly tilted, but
with your spine straight and your weight in your lower back,
slightly different from the full-lotus

sometimes i wish i could just leave the modern world and
work on becoming enlightened...but i don't know where to
go...and i've gotten lazy. i used to be so hard core into
the martial arts...now it's hard to motivate my body to do
some of the harder techs...or just to hold stances for over
three mins...

month in the mountains, never saying a word to anyone else

quite funny when loads of other people modified their pics
with pink hats!
