I want to see this movie so bad, I think it's being released in the UK this weekend. It's about Tony Wilson, who founded Factory records. It's going to feature New Order/Joy Division, The Happy Mondays, and some other groups. Why is there such a long wait for films to be released in the U.S. after being released overseas, and vice versa? Somebody explain it to me. |

that film looks terrible. from the promo pic's ive seen in the press, none of the actors bear ANY resemblance even remotely to their chosen characters-and i cant imagine they resemble their mannerisms either-they've got that bloke out of the royal family playing hooky, and steve coogan playing wilson? who's fucking idea was THAT!!?? its like a really bad version of stars in their eyes, except the lack of resemblances wont be funny just painful. still its got peter kay in it-he's well funny... my mate alledgedly saw shaun ryder in sale the other week-one of his trouser legs was up to his knees and he was having a row with someone on his mobile. what a peoples poet... |
